INPUT / 01
Bring in an image
Drop a PNG, JPG, or WebP here. You can also paste directly from your clipboard.
Up to 30 MB · 40 megapixels
Choose, drop, paste, or load an example image. Imported pixels stay on this device. Select a visible pixel, tune the color range, compare the result, and download a full-resolution transparent PNG.
Private by construction
Your image stays on your device.
Pixels are processed in your browser. There is no upload, account, cloud copy, or hidden server step.
Three deliberate moves
From color sample to clean transparency.
The workflow stays visible and reversible. Start exact, then tune only as far as the image requires.
- 01
Upload an image
Choose, drop, or paste a PNG, JPG, or WebP into the workspace.
- 02
Click the color
Sample the exact pixel, then widen tolerance only when needed.
- 03
Download the PNG
Inspect the transparent edge and export at original resolution.
A visible difference
Pick blue. Keep the citrus.
Click one saturated color and watch it disappear. The fruit, leaves, and ink details stay exactly where they are — only the picked blue becomes transparent.
Choose the right instrument
Color remover vs. AI background remover.
They solve different image problems. RemoveColor is intentionally manual at the moment that matters: choosing what disappears.
You select the exact color
AI guesses the foreground
Logos and solid colors
People and complex scenes
Precise tolerance
Mostly automatic
Colors anywhere in the image
Usually the background
Built for exact-color work
Small jobs that need deliberate control.
When the image has a known paper, screen, ink, or background color, a color remover is often more predictable than foreground guessing.
- 01Logos and icons
Clear a flat background without softening the artwork.
- 02Signatures and scans
Lift ink from white or warm paper for documents and slides.
- 03Green-screen elements
Target chroma green while keeping interior detail intact.
- 04UI and product assets
Make a precise color transparent anywhere in the image.
Precision without the overhead
A local tool with a narrow purpose.
Tolerance follows visual similarity instead of raw channel steps.
Your original pixel dimensions are kept for the final export.
No image content is sent to a server or stored in your browser.
Questions, precisely answered
Color removal, without the mystery.
Start with the exact sample. Increase the range only when the edge asks for it.
01How do I remove a specific color from an image?
Upload the image, click the exact color, adjust tolerance if needed, and export a transparent PNG.
02Can I make white transparent?
Yes. Sample the white area and keep tolerance low at first so light details remain intact.
03What does tolerance mean?
Tolerance controls how far nearby colors may differ from your sample while still becoming transparent.
04Why are some pixels still visible?
Edge pixels often contain blended colors. Raise tolerance gradually or add a small amount of edge softness.
05Can I remove a color from a JPG?
Yes. JPG input is supported, and the result is exported as PNG so transparency can be preserved.
06Why is the result downloaded as PNG?
PNG supports an alpha channel. JPG does not store transparent pixels.
07Does this work for logos and signatures?
Those are ideal use cases when the background is flat or close to a single color.
08Are my images uploaded?
No. Image decoding, color matching, preview, and export happen locally in your browser.
09Does the tool work on mobile?
Yes. The workspace is designed to stack vertically with touch-sized controls on smaller screens.
10How is this different from background removal?
A color remover follows the color you choose, even inside an image. Background removal usually guesses the subject boundary.
